Common questions
My word isn't showing on the iPhone Lock Screen.
Long-press the Lock Screen → Customize → Lock Screen → tap the widget area → add Lockling. Inline (next to the date), rectangular and circular widgets all work. Open Lockling once afterwards; the Today tab confirms when the widget is active.
The word on my Android lock screen doesn't change.
Open Lockling → Today. If it says "Your lock-screen word is off", open the Lock Screen studio and apply again. Some phones (especially Samsung, Xiaomi, Huawei) pause background work to save battery: allow Lockling to run in the background in battery settings. Words change within about 15 minutes of their scheduled time.
How do I get my old Android wallpaper back?
Lock Screen studio → Turn off. Lockling restores your exact previous lock screen with one tap.
Can I pick the word that is on my lock screen?
With Pro, yes. On any word, tap "Show on lock screen now", or use "Next word" in the app or on the widget to skip ahead. Without Pro, Lockling picks the word for you on its review schedule.
How do I restore Pro on a new phone?
Settings → Lockling Pro → Restore purchases, signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account you bought with. Purchases belong to your store account; without a Lockling account we cannot move them between iPhone and Android.
How do I cancel or get a refund?
Cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings (in the app: Settings → Manage subscription). Refunds are handled by Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google Play (order history in your Google account). We are happy to help: just email us.
How do I move my progress?
Settings → Backup → Export creates a file with your progress, settings and own words. Import it on the new phone.
How do I delete my data?
Settings → Reset all progress deletes your learning data right away; deleting the app removes everything it stored. To have the anonymous purchase record at RevenueCat deleted too, email us.
I found a wrong translation or reading.
Tap "Report a mistake" on the word, or email us with the word and language pair. Every report is read by a person.
